I have a black and jewel toned quilt ...Definitely! I have a black and jewel toned quilt (see my profile pic) and I love it, it hangs above my bed. I used a Sulky varigated jewel tones thread to free hand (machine quilt) continuous spirals, big and small, all over it. It's wonderful.
