After extended research and guidance from the Dr. I have decided to receive a vein from a human donor. The Dr has requested that the donor be younger than 30.Yes, my new vein will come from someone who was generous enough to sign his or her organ card. It's not just hearts, kidney's lungs and livers that saves lives.
When you become a donor they also use your veins, skin, and soft tissue to help others live normal lives.
For the first time in 10 years I have the hope of living a normal life again and it's due to the fact someone, or their family, was generous enough to choose donation. If you haven't become a donor yet, please consider giving the gift of life, you never know who's life you might be saving.
