It was a busy day
Finished a quilt this morning, bringing the total to bind up to five. Had a lady drop one off a quilt to be quilted. It is for a family here in town who lost everything in a fire. There will be no charge for the quilting. I hemmed 2 pair of curtins, and pinned another quilt onto the machine. OH and YES lol I cooked dinner. Shake and Bake chicken, corn, peas, and stuffing. LOL had a nice family dinner.
Done for the night, going to go and relax.

Martha Washington's Star
A few years ago while in New Hampshire I met up with a friend of mine and we went to Keepsake Quilting. What a blast we two quilters had there. Well, we both fell in love with this yellow fabric and just had to have some. We decided to make Martha Washington's Star's together.
Mine was done, quilted and on my bed before Sharons. Sharon passed away before her fabric was ever cut. I now have Sharon's kit and I have passed it onto another dear friend that I know Sharon would love for Gail to have it. Now both Gail and I can have a small piece of Sharon with us and remember her as we both enjoy our quilts.

What to do with them
As I was putting Sharon's things away I found this bundle of fabrics. They were rolled and tied with a bow and when I read the tag and began to cry.
The tag said, "Angels Amoung Us" there are 33 fat quarters in this Benartex fabric line. I am now trying to figure out what to make with them. Can you suggest something?
Thanks

Lola has new Lights
1 handy husband + $167. and some change + 4.5 hours =
One heck of a light system over my long arm. LOL
Randy put pencil to paper and drew out this lighting system for over the long arm. WOW
With the lights off...

I love it. There are similar systems on the market that sell for around $500 more or less.
This means much more to me too. Randy thought of my needs as he put this together.
He used 1.5 inch pvc, some strapping, two 4 foot florescent shop lights, and mounted the switch onto the under side of Lola. One flick of the switch and both lights come on.
He is really a keeper this husband of mine and I love him to death.
Enjoy the photos. LOL
With the lights ON! lol
View from my kitchen. There is plastic on the window so there is a reflection. There are only two 4 foot light hangning. The chandler will come down tomorrow and go into my foyer.
The view from my front porch, outside looking in, LOL guess I better cover the windows now. No more quilting in my pj's LOL
Thanks again to that DH of mine. LOL guess I better bake some cookies or even a cake.
