I want to start hand quilting this quilt, It is called a "Carpenters Square" I found the pattern on some very old yellow paper that was in a trunk of my grandmothers. Each block was 24 inches square and it took 72 pins in each row just to keep from loosing the points.

I love this quilt, and how great was the way you found the pattern!
Simple quilting would be best, maybe outline the white (in the ditch) and but the quilting only in the blue.
