It's with the permission of the couple that hired me to make the quilt for, that I am posting these photos. This has been a wonderful project! Greg and Loretta were thrilled with the top. If you have never made a "Lone Star" quilt you can't imagine how much work went into this project. Then add the applique work on top of that. I am so proud of this quilt and I am thrilled that Greg and Loretta own the quilt. The next step is to get it to the Long Arm quilter. I will post more photos when it returns for the binding. Enjoy the top, We are all thrilled with the way it turned out. I'm disappointed that the scalloped applique didn't show up in the photos, you just have to trust me that it's there.

Beautiful. Now on with the quilting :)
Thanks Janet, it sure was a challenge. The only patterns I had was the Quilt in a Day book for the center Lone Star and the pattern for the smaller stars. The rest I had to figure out as I went.
As far as the quilting Wenche, LOL I am so glad I don't have to do that. It will go to the Long Armer this weekend. LOL
Hi Penny...that star quilt is awesome! just beautiful....
